오늘은 다양한 환경에서 제공되는 의료 중 Maternity Care Patient Room의 전반적인 내용에 대해 살펴보겠습니다.

 

 

 

이번 회차 부터는 공간별 내용을 축약시켜 1회에 걸쳐 정리하도록 하겠습니다.

Maternity Care Patient Room(일반적으로 LDR및 LDRP-Labor, Delivery, Recovery Unit)은 전체 출산 과정에 기대와 흥분의 시간을 보내는 곳일 뿐 아니라 전문 지식, 지식 및 주의를 요하는 특수 설계 분야의 공간입니다.

특히 Reduced patient stress, anxiety(환자 스트레스, 불안 감소)파트에서는

Baby care supplies easily reachable by the mother

-산모가 손쉽게 연결할 수 있는 유아 보호 공급 장치

Provision of patient education (e.g. instructions for bathing, diapering, feeding, and soothing baby)

-환자 교육 제공(예:아기를 목욕, 기저귀 교환, 먹이기 및 진정시키기 위한 지침)등 산모와 아이에 특화된 맞춤설계를 제시하고 있습니다.

Maternity Care Patient Room(일반적으로 LDR및 LDRP)은 Labor, Delivery, Recovery Unit을 합친 개념으로 최근 아기와 산모 위주의 분만 환경으로 바뀌면서 가족분만실이 늘어나는 추세라고 합니다.

가족분만실은 진통, 분만, 회복 시간 동안 산모가 이동하지 않아도 되고 남편과 함께 시간을 보낼 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있는데요.

 

가족분만실의 특수침대는 분만 대기, 분만, 회복까지 모두 한자리에서 할 수 있도록 침대가 변형되는데 이와 함께 LDR(Labor, Delivery, Recovery) 시설이 필요합니다.  

가족분만실의 경우 집과 가장 비슷한 분위기를 만들어 산모가 편안하고 안정적으로 출산할 수 있지만 가족이라 해도 방문객이 많을 경우 세균 감염의 우려가 있으므로 주의해야 한다고 합니다.
